Overview
We were proud to support Baller League, one of the UK’s most high-profile indoor football tournaments by delivering a full playing-surface installation and de-rig at the Copper Box Arena in London.
The event is broadcast live on Sky Sports and streamed online to thousands of viewers, making it one of the most visible competitions in the indoor football calendar. Our role was to ensure the venue was equipped with a professional, competition-ready playing surface that met the demands of both broadcast production and elite player performance.
Working closely with the event production team, our specialists installed and prepared the pitch overnight to ensure the arena was fully match-ready ahead of the broadcast.
Project scope
Our team was responsible for the full installation and removal of the temporary playing surface, including:
- Installation of large-format carpet pitch panels
- Precision alignment and seam joining
- Surface securing using industrial velcro systems
- Specialist stitching to create seamless joins
- Pitch line marking and final surface preparation
- Coordination with lighting, branding and production teams
- Post-event de-rig and surface removal
All work was completed within a tight overnight window to ensure the venue was fully operational for matchday.
Installation Process
Delivering a broadcast-quality football surface inside a major arena requires careful planning and precision.
Our experienced installation team worked overnight to lay the large-format carpet pitch sections across the arena floor. Each panel was carefully positioned, aligned and secured using a combination of industrial velcro systems and specialist stitching equipment to ensure a seamless finish across the entire surface.
Once the pitch was fully installed, the team completed detailed line marking before carrying out final surface preparation to ensure the playing area met professional performance standards.
Throughout the installation process we worked closely alongside the event production team, coordinating with lighting, staging and branding contractors to ensure every element of the venue was prepared for live broadcast.

Event De-Rig
Following the completion of the tournament, our team returned to the venue to carry out a full de-rig of the playing surface.
All carpet pitch sections were carefully lifted, dismantled and removed, allowing the arena floor to be restored quickly and safely for its next scheduled event.
